Your machines

The Role column shows what was granted — not what the machine asked for. A role is a statement signed by the domain's Maintainer: who, in what role, until when. Your machine's capabilities decide which role it is eligible for; the signature decides which one it holds. The software on the machine cannot change this line — everyone else checks the signature, and without a valid one they refuse. A role is bound to the machine's key and to its domain: non-transferable, and it expires. When it does, the row stays but access closes until the Maintainer signs a new grant.

Add a machine

Bring another machine into the world — it joins by running one small helper, nothing system-wide, and it stops the moment you close it. Its identity is made on the machine and never leaves it.
